So I've been battling the following error a lot lately:
"09/30/2008 01:24:54 PM Error processing certificate created by /blah/blah for Username/blah/blah: The signature on the certificate was found to be invalid. Check the log file for details."
It appears every few seconds on random users on the server console and whenever I go to do a rename. I'm still not sure what happened to cause the issue but I finally found the right person at IBM Support to help me make it stop. The certifier's key matched the key in the certifier ID file and the users key matched the key in their person document. Basically what I found out is adminp will always fail because for some reason it doesn't see the certifier as being correct (no one has given me a good answer as to why still) but if you certify using the Administration client (Configuration Tab, click Certify, etc) then it doesn't check anything it just changes. Basically telling the ID that I'm the boss and I would like it to do what I say!! Life is good again. Sigh

Suspect this is a problem with the /OU document in the Domino directory for the /OU in question. Do you have backup from which you could replace that document in the directory ?
